I went in with severe pain in my shoulder blade shooting into my arm. After taking an x-ray he saw the beginnings of Arthritis. He said I should take Advil and wear a collar to sleep. The next few day...read mores I had gotten worse so I called back. He actually came to the phone to speak with me. Due to the extreme pain he prescribed a stronger anti-inflammatory. He would not prescribe PT without an MRI in case there was something more serious going on. I ended up doing PT since I was going on vacation and luckily it solved my issue. A friend of mine gave me a Lidocaine patch which helped as well. When I called the office and requested a prescription they took care of it in an expedient matter. The three main reasons why I liked this doctor: 1. Not a drug pusher..he only prescribed drugs when over the counter ones were not effective 2.He was very accessible and his staff was a pleasure. 3. Does not mention surgery..only to be considered as a last resort. He is the FIRST orthopedist that did not mention surgery during the first visit. ...read less
