The doctor was on time for both of my visits and he is both knowledgable an...read mored kind. He takes time to explain things well and is conservative in his approach. I appreciated that. However, I left both times not knowing what activity or treatments were likely to help or irritate my situation (significant left knee pain). To be fair, I don't think I had my questions organized well enough before going in and he did not invite questions or offer spontaneous direction (ice, heat, elevate, exercise, avoid exercise etc.). To be told I could maintain normal activity, while in significant pain, was not helpful. I left feeling like I had not asked the right questions to get the information I needed to help myself recover. The other aspects of my experience that were less than satisfactory were my interactions with the office staff. They ranged from pleasant, to unhelpful to hostile. When I was in extreme pain and waiting for the results of my MRI I was told the doctor couldn't see me until the following week. I went on ZocDoc and scheduled the appointment myself for the very next day. When I arrived (admittedly 7 minutes late) I was told the doctor might not see me. I had called from the cab to inform them I was stuck in traffic 5 blocks away and was hung up on. I called back and the person I spoke to said it was fine. In the end, the doctor did see me and explained my situation and offered clear options. I will be seeking a second opinion. ...read less
